Starter cable with a length of 2 meters up to 800 amps, suitable for all cars. Always handy to have in the car in case someone forgot to turn off the lights. Not every car is easy to push, you will benefit more from a neighbor who does have a jumper cable in his car. For a small investment you always have something to spare in the event of a breakdown or during the winter period. How many Amps is the minimum required? With jumper cables of 200 Ampere you will also get the empty battery full enough for starting after some patience. Connecting:
Avoid contact between red and black cables
Switch off the engine of the assisting vehicle
Connect the red cable (+) to empty battery
Connect the red cable (+) to the battery assisting vehicle
Connect the black cable (-) to battery assist vehicle
Do not connect the black cable (-) on a metal part of the engine or unpainted body part to the empty battery (lead-acid battery/oxygen/explosive)
Start engine-assisted vehicle, turn off all power consumers where possible and run slightly more than idle
Let it run for a few minutes after the breakdown car starts
Detach:
Disconnect black cable from breakdown car, then help vehicle
Disconnect the red cable from the helping vehicle, then the car breaks down
