Canvases
We sell canvases of different brands from 10x10cm to 200x200cm. A choice has been made for the best price-quality ratio combined with availability in the longer term. Cotton canvases from Benson, Greenleafs and Professional Canvas enjoy distribution from the Netherlands where Reeves and Winsor & Newton have to be imported from France. Ordering in advance from Dutch distribution gives a delay of 2 to 3 days in delivery, via France this can sometimes take 1 to 2 weeks.
All our cloths are made of 100% cotton, a soft, single-celled fiber that grows from the epidermis of the seeds of the cotton plant (Gossypium). These fibers are spun into threads and used to make soft, breathable textiles. The cotton fiber is twined together with a rayon fiber and then woven into a high-quality piece of canvas. The coating is usually done 3 times mechanically with a high-quality gesso.
